MebelExpo Uzbekistan 2022 – a landmark event of the furniture and woodworking industry of Uzbekistan!
The leading international exhibition of the furniture and woodworking industry of Uzbekistan will launch its 18th exposition from April 13 to 15 in pavilions 3 and 4 of the Uzexpocentre NEC in Tashkent.
Uzbekistan is the largest consumer market in the Central Asian region with a population of more than 35 million people. The furniture and woodworking industry of the country is among the most dynamically developing sectors of the economy, which mainly involve small and medium-sized businesses.
The growing pace of construction of residential and commercial real estate causes an increase in the need for furniture. The purchasing power of the population of Uzbekistan is growing every year, and with it the demand for the purchase of quality products. Modern trends dictate noteworthy innovations that do not bypass domestic manufacturers. To date, about 90 per cent of the total market capacity is satisfied by domestic products. Currently, there are more than 5,000 enterprises for the production of furniture, board materials, component materials and woodworking enterprises in the republic, and more than 300 thousand people are employed in the production of furniture products. Furniture on the Uzbek market is presented in various price segments and styles and are made of various materials. Over the past 10 years, the range of products has significantly expanded, quality and design have improved in accordance with global trends.
Thanks to the creation of a large number of small enterprises in the market, as well as the liberalisation of export and import regimes, a highly competitive market has formed in this area. This, of course, benefits both the end customers of furniture, who have a wide choice, and local manufacturers, who are forced to maintain stable product quality and look for access to foreign markets.
Over the past 18 years, the MebelExpo Uzbekistan International Exhibition has remained the main exhibition event of the industry, thanks to which the potential of the country`s furniture industry is being strengthened. Along with the latest innovations in the industry, the universal industry exhibition MebelExpo Uzbekistan keeps up with the times. This event allows domestic manufacturers to get access to modern technologies and components in the field of woodworking, and the consumer can purchase high-quality furniture products.
This year, more than 70 companies from 13 countries of the world have confirmed their participation in MebelExpo Uzbekistan, including: Austria, Germany, Iran, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Russian Federation, Slovenia, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Sweden, Switzerland.
This year, the Udmurtia Export Support Center is presented as part of the collective exposition. Participants include 8 manufacturers of finished furniture (cabinet, children`s, upholstered) and furniture components.
Turkish manufacturers of furniture fittings, glue and paint products come to the exhibition with traditional National participation.
At MebelExpo Uzbekistan, the visitor will find everything for furniture production: woodworking and laser machines, tools, adhesives, varnishes, paints, board products, furniture components and accessories, upholstery materials, artificial leather, furniture fillers, plastic for countertops and many more. In addition to products for production, the exhibition presents a wide range of ready-made furniture for home and office, as well as mattresses and sleep products from leading manufacturers of Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation.
Technological innovations, woodworking equipment and tools will be presented by industry leaders such as ARHAR ENGINEERING (Slovenia), SCM GROUP (Italy), FELDER KG (Austria), LEUCO (Germany) and others. The sector of furniture fittings and raw materials will be represented by JULIUS BLUM (Austria), ATTIMEC (Italy), MESAN (Turkey), DÉCOR PROFI (Kyrgyzstan), BOYARD (Russia), POUYA SILK ROAD, LLC (Iran), ZRK GROUP (Pakistan), WOODMAN GROUP, EGIDA SIMAKS (Uzbekistan) and many others. The furniture chemistry sector is widely represented at the exhibition. Among the participants are HELIOS GROUP (Slovenia), KAYALAR KIMYA, BETEK BOYA, POLCHEM, ESKIM KIMYA, DOGU KIMYA, ADALAR KIMYA (Turkey), TECHNOCOLOR (Russia).
The most interesting and demanded sector for the consumer is finished furniture products, this year it has again collected the latest novelties of the season and furniture trends, which will be presented by the brands LYUBIMIY DOM, NAYDI, ROMAK, MAMADOMA, ROBIN WOOD, MODERN FURNITURE, COMFORT-S, AKVILON (Russia), BINKET GROUP, ZIYNAT MAX, AIKO (Uzbekistan) and others. Bright novelties were prepared by the largest manufacturer of orthopedic mattresses and sleep products in Russia, the ASKONA company.
According to the experience of regular exhibitors, MebelExpo Uzbekistan is a key event for furniture makers in Uzbekistan and foreign manufacturers who are willing to enter a new promising market.
