About Exhibition
The 23rd International Exhibition "WoodTech & MebelExpo Uzbekistan" — the most prestigious international trade show for the furniture and woodworking industry in Uzbekistan — will take place in Tashkent from 27 to 29 April 2027.Uzbekistan is the largest consumer market in the Central Asian region, with a population exceeding 38 million people. The country's furniture and woodworking industry is among the most dynamically developing sectors of the national economy, predominantly represented by small and medium-sized enterprises.
The rapid construction of residential complexes, social infrastructure facilities, office buildings, business centers, and infrastructure projects continues to generate consistently high demand for furniture products. Today, nearly 90% of the total market demand is satisfied by domestic production. More than 5,300 enterprises engaged in furniture manufacturing, woodworking, and the production of materials and components currently operate in the country. The industry employs over 300,000 people. Over the past decade, the range of locally manufactured products has expanded significantly, while product quality and design have improved in line with global trends. Both exports and imports of finished furniture products continue to grow steadily.
Since its launch, "WoodTech & MebelExpo Uzbekistan" has established itself as the leading international exhibition event for the industry. The exhibition provides domestic manufacturers with direct access to advanced global technologies, raw materials, and components, while offering companies seeking to expand sales in the local market an opportunity to meet key market players, including designers, manufacturers and distributors.
