A Gateway to Central Asia at WoodTech & MebelExpo Uzbekistan 2026

WoodTech & MebelExpo Uzbekistan 2026

A major business event for Uzbekistan's furniture and woodworking industry — the 22nd International Exhibition: Woodworking. Furniture Components. Furniture and Interior Design — WoodTech & MebelExpo Uzbekistan 2026 — took place on 28–30 April, 2026 at Uzexpocentre NEC.

For more than two decades, the exhibition has remained to be the country's leading industry event, bringing the key market players together under one roof. This year, it has gathered 130 companies and brands from 14 countries: Austria, Republic of Belarus, China, Germany, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Poland, Russia, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden, Türkiye, and Uzbekistan.

The exhibition welcomed 4,593 unique visitors with a total of 5,796 visits, confirming its significance and practical value for industry professionals as a place to exchange expertise and explore the latest equipment and technologies. The event generated strong industry interest, driven in part by exhibitors' active PR campaigns and extensive coverage from bloggers and digital media channels.

The diverse international line-up highlighted the event's status: alongside extensive participation by local manufacturers, the exhibition again featured Türkiye's National Pavilion, as well as collective stands presented by the companies from China and the Ulyanovsk Region of the Russian Federation.

Eman Group, one of Uzbekistan's leading furniture companies, a major domestic furniture manufacturer, and a distributor of equipment and furniture components from a wide range of internationally recognised brands, served as the exhibition's Silver Sponsor for the second consecutive year.

For the first time, WoodTech & MebelExpo Uzbekistan hosted a full three-day business programme, with each day dedicated to a different theme: Design Insights: A Flawless Project; Furniture Industry Insights. Pressing Issues and Solutions; Participant Insights. Industry and Regional Challenges. Organised in partnership with Eman Group, the programme brought together a series of professional seminars, masterclasses, case study sessions and panel discussions featuring leading architects, designers, furniture manufacturers and industry experts from Uzbekistan and abroad. Participants heard real business cases from company founders, joined frank discussions on competition and market resilience, and explored new approaches to services and sales.

WoodTech & MebelExpo Uzbekistan serves as a showcase of industry achievements and a dynamic platform for professional networking and business communication. By combining exhibition displays with expert discussion, the event gave industry professionals the opportunity to meet directly with dealers and distributors of international brands, discuss supply partnerships, conclude contracts and exchange views on current market trends and the future development of the industry. The programme also included premieres of the latest equipment in the open demonstration area, alongside presentations of innovative solutions for furniture manufacturing and interior design. The new technologies and products presented at the exhibition are aimed at increasing the efficiency of local production and raising quality standards across Uzbekistan's furniture market.

Exhibitor surveys and feedback confirmed that participation in the exhibition played an important role in establishing business contacts, finding partners and clients, and promoting companies more broadly. Some of the comments are presented below:

Rustem Atabayev, Head of Sales, Blum Central Asia LLP, Austria

"Iteca Exhibitions delivered a strong organisation of WoodTech & MebelExpo this year. The registration process was smooth, and the exhibition attracted a high number of visitors. We had the opportunity to meet a large number of clients and partners from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and other Central Asian countries. Almost 90% of our stand featured Blum products from Austria, and visitors showed great interest in the materials and solutions presented. We are already considering participating on a regular basis, as Uzbekistan is a market where our brand is genuinely well known and widely used in projects. We also hope to see the international reach of the exhibition continue to expand."

Giulio Bresin, Sales Representative, Italiana Ferramenta s.r.l.

"As an Italian manufacturer, Italiana Ferramenta is very pleased to participate in MebelExpo, which provides valuable opportunities to meet local furniture manufacturers and dealers. The exhibition is an important event for the entire Central Asian region. We achieved all the objectives we had set, including meeting new clients and strengthening relationships with existing partners. The overall standard of the exhibition is very high, making it an excellent platform for presenting products and developing productive dialogue with local businesses. Uzbekistan, and Central Asia as a whole, represent growing markets with strong demand for high-quality fittings and solutions from Italian and other European manufacturers. We have already discussed participation in next year's exhibition with the organisers and plan to return, potentially with a larger stand."

Farkhad Seyfullayev, Head of Sales, FoamLine Vostok

"FoamLine has been participating in MebelExpo for several years, and the organisation of the exhibition continues to maintain a consistently high standard. For us, the main priority has always been maintaining close communication with our partners. The exhibition creates an opportunity to bring partners together in one place over the course of three days, discuss current issues and define the next stages of cooperation. This is precisely why our management team travels from Russia specifically to attend the event. This year, the exhibition also helped us expand into new CIS markets. Among the visitors were partners from Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan, with whom preliminary agreements have already been reached. They are planning to visit our production facility as early as next week. MebelExpo is a professional industry platform of national significance, and we are confident in the long-term prospects for cooperation."

Andrey Lee, Head, Décor Profi (brands Alvic, Cleaf, Lamarty, Dekta, Hafele), Kyrgyzstan–Uzbekistan

"Thanks to WoodTech & MebelExpo, we can stay informed about the latest market trends, better understand our customers' needs and respond promptly to industry demand. Annual participation in the exhibition provides an excellent opportunity to present our company, showcase our product range and, together with the organisers, introduce new and distinctive solutions to the market. This year, we are presenting products from our long-standing partners from Belarus, Italy, Spain and Russia, whose brands we proudly represent in Uzbekistan. We are pleased to be part of this major annual industry event and look forward to returning next year."

Ravshan Umarov, Head, Infinity by Eman Materials

"We have been participating in WoodTech & MebelExpo for many years, and for us the exhibition is a platform for building dialogue between suppliers and clients. It has always been about innovation and always about the future. This year, together with Iteca Exhibitions, we decided to transform the platform by introducing a series of panel discussions and public talks under the Interior Design Insights slogan. For the first time, interior designers, suppliers and furniture manufacturers came together in one space for an open discussion about contemporary international projects, service as a competitive advantage, and the real challenges facing the industry today. In my opinion, the result exceeded expectations. The strong response from the audience and the high level of engagement clearly show that we are moving in the right direction. This was an important step forward, and we definitely plan to continue this format at future exhibitions — we are stronger together."

WoodTech & MebelExpo received wide media coverage and was actively featured by interested market stakeholders, including government and international organisations, major companies and holdings, and media platforms. The event was covered by 41 outlets, including 27 leading local media outlets. The total number of publications exceeded 67.
