The Industrial Development Fund in Uzbekistan will receive capital of $1 billion
TASHKENT, July 25. /TASS/. President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree on the creation of an industrial development fund, its capital will be $1 billion. This was reported by the press service of the Russian trade mission in the republic.
“The new structure will operate under the Fund for Reconstruction and Development of Uzbekistan. Using the new fund, loans will be allocated for industrial projects for the production of high-tech products and capacity expansion, rental and purchase of buildings,” the message says.
For the fund’s activities, it is planned to attract $1 billion and annually allocate about $200 million more from the budget for infrastructure costs and expenses for subsidies and compensation provided by the fund.
